Parties and Definitions

For purposes of these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), Global Customs ("Seller") is the seller of all goods, parts, kits, seat covers, upholstery, and related products. Global Customs is a legal entity separate and distinct from globallimos.com.

Any individual or entity receiving an invoice, placing an order, or making full or partial payment is deemed the "Buyer."

2. Acceptance of Terms

By making any payment, whether partial or full, the Buyer expressly acknowledges, agrees to, and is legally bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all purchases, whether made directly, by invoice, or through the website.

3. Assumption of Risk and Indemnification

The Buyer expressly assumes all risks associated with the purchase, installation, use, modification, or resale of any parts, products, kits, seat covers, upholstery, or related items purchased from the Seller.

The Buyer fully indemnifies, defends, and holds harmless the Seller from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of or related to:

  • The use, misuse, installation, or improper installation of any purchased items;
  • Any interior renovation, conversion, or modification of a bus, van, or vehicle;
  • Personal or commercial use of the vehicle following installation;
  • Any claims by second or third parties, whether arising from personal injury, property damage, regulatory violations, or commercial operations.

The Buyer is solely responsible for inspecting all parts and installations prior to any personal or commercial use.

4. DIY Bus and Van Kits

The Seller may, at its discretion, provide general recommendations regarding installation. Such recommendations do not create liability, nor do they constitute professional, mechanical, or regulatory advice.

The Seller shall not be responsible for any incident, damage, injury, or loss occurring before, during, or after installation, whether related to the kit, the installation process, or subsequent use.

The Buyer is solely responsible for:

  • Hiring certified and qualified installers;
  • Ensuring installers are registered and/or certified with NHTSA and any other applicable authorities;
  • Verifying compliance with all DOT, NHTSA, federal, state, and local regulations.

If any component fails to meet regulatory requirements, it is the Buyer's sole responsibility to modify, replace, or refrain from using such components. The Buyer fully indemnifies the Seller from any liability arising from non-compliance.

5. Inspection, Acceptance, and Quality Approval

Prior to shipment, the Buyer shall inspect the ordered items via a video call. The Buyer may request reasonable changes during this inspection.

The Seller will record the video call as evidence of the Buyer's acceptance of the quality, condition, specifications, and quantity of the items.

Upon completion of the inspection and shipment authorization, the Buyer waives and relinquishes any right to claim dissatisfaction or request refunds based on quality or workmanship.

All products may be marked on the reverse side with an "OK" designation and the Buyer's initials to ensure delivery of the exact inspected items.

6. Shipping, Delivery, and Delays

Estimated delivery times are not guarantees. Typical timelines may include:

  • 15-30 days for air shipments (e.g., seat covers);
  • 45–90 days for sea freight.

The Seller reserves the right to deliver products within up to 120 days from the date of purchase.

The Seller is not liable for:

  • Shipping delays caused by carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, freight forwarders, etc.);
  • Customs delays;
  • Force Majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, labor disruptions, governmental actions, or international supply chain interruptions.

All shipping-related claims must be filed directly with the carrier by the Buyer.

7. Exchange Policy (No Refunds)

All sales are final. No refunds are offered.

Exchanges are permitted only if damage is caused directly by the Seller. The Buyer must:

  • Report damage within 1–2 days of delivery;
  • Provide clear photographic and/or video evidence.

The Seller reserves up to 90 days to replace or exchange damaged items.

8. Website Applicability

These Terms apply equally to all users of the website, whether or not a purchase is completed through the site.

9. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

The buyer agrees to resolve matter by arbitration in Sacramento, Ca for any/all matters. If any dispute arise out of or relating to these Terms or any purchase, the buyer agrees to exclusively pursue the matter in the jurisdiction of West Sacramento or Sacramento California courts.
